The Specialized S-Works Epic 9 UL LTD is designed for riders who demand the lightest, fastest, most capable XC race bike in the world. At just 1,589 grams for the frame (size medium), Epic 9 is 129 grams lighter than the nearest competitor and stands as the lightest full-suspension XC race bike ever made. The complete S-Works Ultralight LTD build weighs approximately 8.5 kg (19 lbs 1.5 oz). Through advanced FEA optimization and meticulous gram-saving design, every surface and structure has been engineered to reduce weight without compromising efficiency, stiffness, or control.
With 120mm of travel front and rear, Epic 9 delivers improved suspension performance thanks to 11% reduced friction and refined kinematics. The Dynamic Trio damping system offers three distinct modes, Wide Open, Magic Middle, and Sprint-On-Lock, ensuring optimal performance across technical descents, varied terrain, and race sprints.
