Tube amp-style preamp boost and saturation breathes throughout the Benson Preamp with all the authentic tone of Benson's handmade tube treasures.
Within the Benson Preamp, Benson utilizes FET transistors to recreate the authentic tube tone of their Chimera thirty-watt amplifier. Across the Preamp's streamlined, simplified EQ and drive-shaping controls, the pedal summons shimmery, chunky preamp tones that swing with plenty of touch sensitivity. Work the pedal's independent Drive and Volume controls to introduce thicker tube-like saturation or glassy, full-bodied boost by punching one control and inverting the other.
