Aervald Tarp
Sometimes you just need reliable protection from the elements. The Aervald Tarp line gives you options whether you want full-coverage rectangular shelter for rough weather or an ultralight seamless asym tarp for fast-and-light trips. The classic '09 Rectangle Silpoly tarps and the Seamless Asym Tarps are now both available here, with some new options available!
Crafted from durable Hexon 1.1 SilPoly or Xenon Wide SilPoly, these tarps are lightweight, packable, and versatile enough to handle everything from summer shade to backcountry storms.

🔹 Rectangular Tarp (Classic ’09 Style)
A large, full-coverage tarp with plenty of pitching options.
- Hang in a traditional A-Frame style
- Pull the corners in to create storm doors
- Pitch it to ground for emergency shelter
- New! Available in a wide 11' version for extra coverage

Our lightest and simplest option—made from a single piece of Xenon Wide SilPoly, meaning no ridgeline seam and no seam sealing required. Perfect for summer trips, light rain, or a minimalist pack.
Features:
- Set up as a rectangle or asym tarp (works for left or right lay)
- 8 tie-out points with 3/4" Beastie D-Rings
- Sizes: 10'x5'9" or 11'x5'9"
- Corner-to-corner length: 11’5” (Small), 12’4” (Large)
- Approx. weight: 15 oz
Seam Sealing Options (Rectangular Tarp Only)

All tarps come standard with 3/4" Beastie D-Rings at tie-out points.
