WHEN GOOD GRIP ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH
On mountain bikes, flat pedals have obvious advantages over their clipless counterparts. It’s easier to reposition your foot after getting it back on the pedal. You can put a foot down if you need to re-gain balance through a slow technical section. They conveniently allow you to hop off your bike without twisting your foot out of a cleat. They're going to love it. Turbine gives riders an incredibly locked-in feel by having the most concave platform on the market. 

WHERE DO THEY STACK UP?
Turbine is, 17% more concave, 27g lighter and only 5% thicker than the Deity T-Mac. Pedals can come down to personal preference, but Race Face believes that Turbine is the better choice. Turbine hits the sweet spot for concavity. Add more and you can run into ground clearance issues, additional weight and possible foot discomfort. Take any concavity away and you compromise the locked-in ride feel.
