Its innovation lies in extending the pedal body to reposition the positive element of the cleat (and related mechanical components) behind the direct contact point between shoe and pedal, allowing a 6 mm reduction in the space between shoe and pedal axle compared to existing market-leading systems (Shimano) and an increase in the contact surface (1,653 mm²) between shoe and pedal. The cleat, thanks to the repositioning of the positive element, requires an additional hole in the shoe sole, currently exclusive to Q36.5's Unique Pro shoes.
