Echeveria ‘Neon Breakers’ is a succulent plant of the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family, bred by Renee O'Connell an American breeder. It is one of the few species in the crinkly leaf cabbage family among tens of thousands of succulent species. Not only is the plant dignified and beautiful, but also the sturdy stems (with thin leaves) are arranged in a standard rosette shape in an orderly manner, and the edges are wavy with small serrations. It is characterized by finely pleated leaf margins and a thin layer of white frost on the leaf surface. The foliage color is bright pink or purple-red in full sun with some temperature difference. Prefers a sunny and well-ventilated environment. The plant is extremely attractive with its wrapped shape and purple-red leaves when it is raised.

Care Tips

Light: Needs sufficient light prolonged lack of light is easy to fade (spread like a large pie) and even the leaf edge of the fold will slowly fade, and the leaf color to gray-blue or blue-pink. In contrast, sufficient sunlight in a relatively dry environment leaves slightly wrapped inward, the leaf color deep purple to pink-purple ornamental better.

Water: Should follow the watering principle of "not dry, not watering". With these plants, the soak and dry method is best. Soak the soil completely and don't water it again till it's completely dry. In spring and autumn, you can wait for the soil to dry out and water thoroughly (about 1-2 weeks). In summer and winter, control the water appropriately or even cut off the water, and observe that the bottom leaves of the succulent are wrinkled and watered a little less along the side of the pot.

Soil: The soil should be loose and breathable with a certain percentage (60%) of granular substrate, and the growth rate can be controlled by adjusting the proportion of granular soil.

Potting: It is recommended to use ceramic pots. Ceramic pots have a certain degree of permeability. Clay pots lose water too quickly, plastic pots tend to retain water for too long and permeability is poor.

Temperature: The most suitable temperature range for growth is 50-77°F (10-25℃). Fear of freezing during winter time. If the maintenance temperature is lower than 41°F (5 ℃), you must cut off water treatment, wait until the temperature warms up and then give water. If the maintenance temperature exceeds 50°F (10 ℃), it can still grow slowly, but the winter light is poor.

Humidity: Neon Breakers grow well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. Prefers a relatively dry environment. Normal household humidity is good for this plant.

    Care Instructions

Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.

    delightful read
    Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

    not bad
    Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

    A Beta Worth Rooting For
    Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

    Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
    Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

    A familiar story, just with…..less.
    Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
