Tiger Nut Seed aka chufa (Cyperus esculentus)

Our Tiger Nut seeds are all natural untreated and Non-GMO.

Tiger Nut  are great for Turkey, Deer and other wildlife. Plant 50 lbs. - per acre

Tiger Nut are a bunch grass with a peanut like an underground nut - used for food plots of deer, turkey, hogs and wild hogs. This legume is very similar to peanuts, if you have ever seen hogs rooting peanuts, they go after chufa the same way. Plant in spring through summer. Wildlife digs up the Tiger Nut  once they mature.

Tiger Nut  are a perennial sedge that is one of the most popular foods for wild turkeys. Tiger Nut  plants have underground tubers, which are part of the plant that turkeys eat. One chufas tuber will produce a plant that can grow to 15-75 tubers when mature. Turkeys find the tubers by scratching them from just under the surface of the ground. The tubers are high in protein and fat, which makes them especially nutritious for wild turkeys. Chufa can also make an excellent food source for other wildlife including deer and ducks.

Tiger Nut  plants grow well in the southern half of the US from Northern California across to Southern Iowa and even Southern Pennsylvania. Tiger Nut  plants grow in a variety of soil, but perform best on well-drained, sandy or loamy soils. Clay soils can support chufa. When growing in clay soils, lightly turn the soil in the fall to expose the tubers. This practice can be done periodically to extend the food supply into winter and early spring. Simply plow several strips twice a month until the entire field has been plowed. Generally, Tiger Nut  will grow anywhere that corn can be successfully grown.

Works & Looks Great!
This item comes with two options for sticking to the sink, suction cups & an adhesive thing. I decided to try the suction cups first, that way I can remove them to clean, plus I wanted to test out the position of where I put it on the sink. They work great! I haven’t had to re-stick not once. Great staying power! And it looks really good! Also, the seller sent a follow-up message just to check in & offer answers if any questions arose. That meant the world to me, like it’s not every day a seller cares what you think once money changes hands. 10/10 would recommend!

need a smooth sink surface for this to work
Color: Silver
Suction cups didn't stick to my sink and kept falling; to be fair, surface of my sink is textured.

Three months later, it's a keeper
Color: Silver
I hate it when reviews are left one day after the product arrives. At that point, there's no way of knowing if the item is going to last. When my last sink caddy went bad (the suction cups rotted out and the wires had started to rust), I ordered this as a replacement. Inexpensive, functional, worth a try. There were two things that impressed me when this arrived. The suction cups weren't permanently mounted, so if they fell apart, the caddy was still worthwhile. Secondly, the company offered free replacement suction cups if the time came I needed them. That struck me as above-and-beyond; I had no idea this was part of the package. I'm happy with this. It looks good, I detach the sink caddy regularly when I want to move it out of the way, and it pops right back into place. For the money, I don't think you can beat it.

Great caddy. Well built.
Color: Black, Color: Black
This is a great caddy for my sink items. Holds the dishwashing liquid, hand soap, sponge, brush and still has room for more. The only suggestion is to allow the brush cage to also be above the drip pan so you have more space. I know I can add the brush cage into the main compartment to drain it but I prefer the extra space. This is very sturdy and is the perfect width and height for many sinks.
