We built the Axial WS Race's frame for efficiency and comfort. With its tapered head tube, cross-ovalised down tube and thru axles front and rear, it delivers uncompromising speed and steering accuracy.

It's all in the detail. The Axial WS Race's legendarily reliable shimano 105 gears give you the range and pace you need to cover the miles, but it's the cube design details like the full carbon fork – which is lighter and more comfortable than the alternative – that really seal the deal.

There's aluminium, and then there's CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE.

Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.
