The Specialized Recon 1.0 MTB shoes are designed for those seeking adventure while cycling, and are engineered with Body Geometry technology: safety and functionality for the cyclist tackling a tough climb to enjoy a breathtaking view, but also for those who have just started cycling or for spinning. Comfort and versatility are the key words in the design of the Recon 1.0. These ergonomically designed Body Geometry shoes, scientifically tested for comfort, performance, and efficiency, reduce the risk of sports injuries and improve power by 7 watts. STRIDE technology: the flexible upper combined with a carefully designed sole ensures natural walking, while maintaining the necessary stiffness and efficiency for pedaling. Efficiency: The Recon 1.0 features a Boa L6 dial with soft Dyneema laces that do not stretch, and rigid printed guides have been removed to keep the upper comfortable. The outsole has been optimized with balanced stiffness for perfect power transfer.
- Body Geometry sole and insole with ergonomic design, scientifically tested for high power transfer, to increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
- The STRIDE toe-flex technology of the injected nylon sole allows for natural movement of the forefoot, while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0.
