The Sage Alloy Pedal takes the base of our Vortex pedal design and evolves with features you can only get from alloy! With 2mm of real concave and 10 pins per side, you will have no issues with grip using the Sage pedal. All of this comes in at only 216g per pedal and includes a lifetime warranty. Trail One's mission was to craft a set of pedals that hit all the little performance details along with top-tier serviceability and durability.

trail One wanted to create the alloy pedal of their dreams, with a thin profile that still had plenty of real concave. 6061 alloy that can take a beating while still being light, topped off w/ any easily serviceable and reliable sealed bearing + bushing internal system. There are 8 pins threaded in from the back, as well as 2 grub pins on the inside where you are least likely to hit while riding, allowing you to remove and replace all the pins easily when needed. The pins are 5.5mm tall on the leading and trailing sides and 4.5mm in the center of the pedal. Trail One also retained the same symmetrical design from our Vortex pedal. This means the pedal offset is the same front to back on both sides of the spindle, keeping your foot balanced. With a platform size of 110mm x 110mm, it is slightly larger than their Vortex without being so large that it gets in the way.

The remarkable crew at SAGE Trail Alliance maintains over 250 miles of trails there & beyond. These were routes once used by the local Chumash Native Americans to navigate the mountains, stretching from the ocean to the backcountry. Numerous trails plummet 3,000 feet into the city, offering miles of single track with million-dollar views. The task of preserving, restoring & constructing these trails is formidable, yet the SAGE Crew excels, even extending their expertise beyond the Santa Barbara area.
