- At Dominion Hemp, we understand that hemp and hemp bedding are relatively new products to many people. We hope these frequently asked questions and information help educate you about our incredible product.
- Is Dominion Hemp bedding made from fiber hemp stalks, CBD plant stalks, or grain stalks?
Our hemp bedding is made from fiber hemp stalks. Fiber hemp is typically more mature and absorbent than CBD or grain hurd. Hurd is the material we use for the hemp bedding. - How many bags do I need for an 8' x 6' Chicken coop? One to two bags will cover the hen boxes and an 8' x 6' chicken run. Please see our application chart on our hemp bedding for chickens page.
- How many bags do I need for a 12' x 12' horse stall? One large bag will cover 10+ cubic feet at a one-inch depth; most equine clients use three to five bags, adding one bag every 4-7 days to replace the soiled material.
- Can I use my spent/soiled hemp for composing or spread it into my field?
Yes, we have many clients who use soiled hemp for composting. Hemp is biodegradable and does not have the acidity of pine shavings. - There seems to be black dust in our hemp bedding. Is this dust?
No, this is called the fines of the hemp hurd. This micro-material is great for absorption and will not become airborne. - What material is in the bag other than hemp hurd? Our hemp bedding is 100% hemp hurd. We do not add any other material to it.
- Are there any pesticides or herbicides in the hemp? No, the material we received is grown without pesticides.
- If my animal eats the hemp, will it harm them? Your pet may initially nibble at the hemp bedding out of curiosity; this is common with many animals. They quickly lose interest. Hemp hurd is part of the plant but not appealing to many animals’ palettes.
- If you notice your pet is eating abnormal amounts of their bedding, there could be an underlying issue, and you should contact a veterinarian.
- If my pet eats the hemp, will they get high or fail a drug test? This is our favorite question; the answer is NO. There is no THC in our hemp bedding.

Amazing for the price

At a higher price they would have been 4 or 3 stars, but for $50 this is an insane deal. The steel is pretty good quality. It almost seems like it's hardened VG-10 but I think they would advertise that if it were so I'm guessing it's a cheaper stainless steel that just comes harder without being treated though I'm just speculating based on price. Anyways they're flat ground, take an edge easily, and hold it reasonably well. Nicer knives would certainly hold an edge longer but I'm pretty happy with them. The flat ground shape of the blade is actually ever so slightly convex as well, it's not too apparent in use but you can certainly see it in the reflection. The serration on the bread knife is the inverse of what I would prefer, rounded metal with points cut into it vs points extending from the blade with the rounded parts cut out. When the rounded parts are cut out it's easy to sharpen. When the points are cut out it's almost impossible to sharpen.
The handles are the downfall of the knives. They're not smoothly finished and while they look alright they feel like a cheaply cut (although very solid) piece of plastic which is exactly what they are. A little bit better finishing on the handles would really improve the knives.
The holding block serves it's purpose well. The sharpener is ok but below average, though the rough steel rod sharpeners just aren't great to begin with. Diamond coated rods are much better, though ceramic rod sharpeners are the best.
Overall I love the knives and I'm glad I bought them. For the price they're the best deal I've ever found, no question. I love that there is no logo on them, but I just don't like to see branding in general even if it's a premium brand. If you're buying this for the bread knife or the sharpener, don't, they're not good. If you want the look and feel of a $300+ knife set, don't buy this, you'll be disappointed. If you want a good quality knife set but aren't willing to spend $300+ then absolutely buy these, they're great.

Best steamer on market hands down

If you want to really deep clean your home then this will be your best friend. Comes with several different attachments which is great. It’s light weight so not heavy to carry around. So easy to put together or change attachments. They give you a measuring cup for the exact amount of water you need with a funnel so no mess putting water in. Heats up super fast which is awesome. Like i said light weight but strong steamer. The first thing i used it on was my oven which is 8 or 9 years old. From cooking especially holidays there was grease etc on it. I used the oven cleaners that say removes grease with one wipe Nope it those products actually ruined top of my stove made it dull and even other parts almost a rust look which I am not happy with. Wish I knew about this amazing machine before I ever used the store bought oven cleaner. Like I said it comes with several attachments ones for steaming your floors amazing. An attachment for grout also did an amazing job I was shocked my shower looks brand new my floors look brand new also. Another attachment is for steaming shower doors, walls, furniture and clothes works awesome. Another attachment for hard to reach places super amazing. Oh and the handle can come apart so you can make it long for when your steaming floors then make it smaller to carry around to do all the other steaming you want to do. Best part is that it didn’t break the bank the price was well worth it. I first saw this steamer on TickToc like with other items I have bought. But my go to place to see if these items are on Amazon cause Amazon is my go to place to shop, also the prices are always cheaper and you can get it in 2 days or other things I bought within hours. Where tik tok it takes weeks to get and always more expensive. So thank you Amazon for being an amazing company. If i could give more stars for this steamer I would give it a 20 star that’s how great it works. One thing I forgot to do was take a picture of my stove before but I did after. You can see where those store products ruined areas I mentioned. That was not caused by this amazing product.

Great all-in-one steam cleaner

Great Lightweight Steam Mop!

I’m really happy with the Schenley Steam Mop. It heats up in about 15 seconds and is ready to go almost instantly. It works well on my hardwood and tile floors, removing everyday dirt without needing any chemicals.
It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and I love that it stands on its own. The washable pads and adjustable steam modes are a nice bonus. The water tank is a bit small, but for regular cleaning it’s perfect.
Great value and very convenient for quick, effective cleaning!
