The Liberty Jane "Little" Halloween Costume Pattern Collection is designed to fit a variety of 13 inch - 14.5 inch dolls - such as WellieWishers™, Hearts For Hearts Girls®, Les Cheries®, Glitter Girls™, and more! The PDF doll clothes sewing pattern includes four characters - Pumpkin, Alien, Ladybug, and Spider. The basic body style of the costume is the same for each character, there are different accessory pieces to complete each look.
Please note: Leggings and T-Shirt pattern are NOT included, but available separately. The costume is shown with these pieces but can be worn on its own or over them.
This pattern is also available separately for the larger 18-inch dolls.
Supplies Needed:
- 1/4 yard of fabric for the main body. You can use a variety of fabric types like jersey knit, felt, fleece, lycra, or woven non-stretch cotton.
- 1/8" wide elastic
- Felt sheets/fabric (color varies by costume selected)
- Hook and loop tape (pumpkin or ladybug)
- Thread
- Safety pin or a tool to feed elastic through the casings
There are a variety of other supplies needed that are listed in the pattern. Things like pipe cleaners, large chenille sticks, thin craft wire, felt scraps, googly eyes, and tights or panty hose - all available at your local craft store.
Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate. You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine and be familiar with sewing straight seams. Depending on the choice to do the applique's and wings, the pattern skill level will vary.
What You Get: One 16 page sewing pattern that you digitally download as a PDF file so you can start your project immediately! The PDF sewing pattern provides full color step-by-step illustrated instructions and full-size pattern pieces. A PDF reader is required to view and print the files (example: Adobe Reader or Preview for MAC). The download link is received immediately after the transaction is complete. Print copies are NOT available.
