The Lite XL is the bigger version of the Primus Lite-line of stove systems. Even though it’s meant for two people, you won’t regret bringing it along on solo trips as it’s very light.

Ease of use

Using the stove is straightforward. Screw the burner to the gas canister and lock the burner to the hole on the pot's underside by twisting clockwise. Ignite it with the Piezo ignition by opening the gas valve while simultaneously pressing the red button. The lever is big enough to handle with gloves on. You must turn the burner valve multiple times to open the gas fully, so you can precisely adjust the burn.

As mentioned, you can also use this with other pots and pans. Just screw the three pegs onto the burner and place your pot on top. Note that in this case, you lose the advantage of the designed wind shielding and the heating system, so fuel efficiency will not be as good, nor will the water boil as quickly.
