THE Leather TARP
サイズの異なるレザーを余すことなく使い切るために、一枚一枚、パーツを職人が手裁断しています。
縫製も全て手作業。
クロム鞣しで防水成分を表面に塗るのではなく、革の鞣し段階から保革油や保護剤を浸透させ優れた撥水効果を発揮する加工を施しています。
また、裏地にはコーデュラナイロンを使用。生地の継ぎ目からの浸水を防ぐために内側からシームテープを圧着し、防水性を高めています。
素材には、牛革らしい風合いを活かした上質感のあるスムースレザーを使用。靴やバイクレース用のツナギなどに使用される極薄5mmの軽量レザーです。
卓越した職人が、ほぼ1人で作り上げるため、1月あたりの生産可能枚数は僅か数枚。
クラフトマンシップが宿った、唯一無二のタープが完成しました。

Attractive and Functional

I bought this to prop up my MacBook Pro M2 to save space on my desk while I am using a dock. The base is nicely adjustable, and holds the laptop securely. Sturdy metal base and attractive wood side pieces. My MacBook has never felt like it might tip, and I have a cat who squeezes past it to reach my office window multiple times per day. If you like the look, I'd highly recommend it for functionality.
