The long and short of it: This Roman Tub Filler Faucet is a fully functioning Tub Faucet unit. It features Two Handles to control the hot and cold water that comes out the Tub Spout, allowing you to get the perfect temperature mix you prefer. This stylish Tub Faucet is designed to rapidly fill a Tub so you can get to soaking sooner. It puts out 18 gallons of water per minute, enough to quickly fill even the largest Tub. This fixture comes complete with the required Rough-in Valve which installs in the Tub Deck. Buy this item if you want a stylish and quick way to fill your Tub!
This fixture includes the Rough-in Valve. The Valve is the part that installs in the Tub Deck and connects to your home's hot and cold water supply. The Valve included with this item is the Delta Universal R2707 Roman Tub Filler Faucet Valve. Delta has manufactured all of their Roman Tub Faucet Trim Kits (the part of the Tub Faucet you actually see) to all fit the same Universal Tub Valve. In the future, if you ever plan to change the style or finish of your Tub Faucet, you will not need to change out the Valve in the deck (as long as you stick with Delta as the manufacturer). This saves you from having to rip out tile or go through other hassles to change your Tub Faucet. You can just swap out the old with the new. This advantage allows you to stay up to date with the latest design and home decor trends!
