Imox Herbicide - 12.1% Imazamox (Beyond, Raptor, Clearcast Alternative)
Imox Herbicide is labeled for the control of vegetation in and around aquatic and non-cropland sites including areas that may be grazed or cut for hay, (not safe on grass hay). Imox controls grass, labeled broadleaf weeds, and has a limited residual effect as well.
Imox is an excellent choice for the serious Wildlife Food Plot grower who is looking for a single application for weed control. It is safe on Alfalfa, Clover, and usually on Chickory. For use in chicory, apply early post-emergence when weeds are actively growing and when chicory has at least 2, and no more than 4, fully expanded true leaves present. DO NOT apply to chicory subjected to stress conditions, such as hail damage, flooding, drought, injury from other herbicides, or widely fluctuating temperatures, or crop injury may result. Addition of nitrogen fertilizer (Nitro-Surf) may improve weed control but also increases the likelihood of injury to chicory. For more detailed information on what Imazamox will control, reference the Raptor label. Also, please note that the recommended weed size for spraying is 3-4 inches. As the weeds get larger, effectiveness can diminish.
Imox Herbicide is a selective herbicide that will control floating, emerged and shoreline weed species while allowing desirable plants to colonize. Imox is ideal for aquatic areas used for fishing and other recreation activities, while minimal irrigation restrictions allow Imox to be applied in a large variety of aquatic environments, including golf course ponds and irrigation canals and ditches.
How It Works
As Imox is absorbed through the leaves, stems and roots of vegetation, it binds with an enzyme found only in plants, and not found in humans, mammals, birds, fish or insects. Sensitive plants stop growing within 24 hours after treatment, and then slowly break down as food and energy reserves are exhausted. The rate at which plants age varies with plant size and growth habit. Imox has a very favorable environmental profile, and is classified as practically nontoxic to birds, fish, algae and aquatic invertebrates. It’s the only herbicide on the market that has been granted a tolerance exemption by the EPA, which means there are no food residue limits for Imox in fish, shellfish, crustaceans or irrigated crops.

Great book on Android malware reverse engineering and detection!
Format: Paperback
This book offers a holistic approach for learning how to deal with malware targeting Android platform. I find this book to be equally interesting to read for both people with little experience in the domain of malware analysis as quick-start guide as well as for experienced reverse engineers who would want to translate their knowledge from malware analysis in other platforms to Android. This book is definitely worth the time reading it.
The first half of the book is a great source of information on reverse engineering Android malware. Chapters on categories of Android Malware and examples of the malware in the wild set up the necessary context for the readers and help to better understand why Android malware focuses on certain infection/monetization techniques. It also bring context in the evolution of mitigation and hardening in Android platform.
Chapters on static and dynamic analysis are very practical and engaging to read which I probably enjoyed the most in the book. They teach readers how to do reverse engineering of Android malware -- covers tooling, methodologies, hints to look for in the code or binary artifacts when doing reverse engineering.
The second half of the book is dedicated to using machine learning techniques for detecting malware. It starts with a concise yet self-contained necessary theoretical background. In my point of view the authors hit a very good balance for making material accurate and comprehensive yet easy to read and follow along for people without extensive background in the field (which is not a trivial thing for math texts). As it is probably impossible to fit all the necessary theoretical material in a single (or even couple of chapters) they text offers references to sources which cover certain topics in-depth -- for those readers who would like to dive deeper in machine learning. Finally, the book wraps with application of the discussed machine learning techniques to certain malware families.

Very well written, great coping ideas for toddlers!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
A little backstory - my son hits. It’s not like aggressive but he is 19 months and tends to use his hands when he is frustrated.
That being said I am genuinely impressed with this book. It seems long but it’s not. It’s a good length but my toddler was able to sit through the whole thing. It has plenty of pictures for each coping skill, making it one skill per page.
My son seemed to really be paying attention and absorbing the book. The author did well putting things in simpler terms while also continuing to repeat why hitting is bad. The author describes many different ways why hitting hurts, makes people sad, hurts them physically and mentally.
It’s all inclusive, different kids that all look different. That was a bonus for me. I love books who acknowledge us all. It teaches our children to do the same.
Pages are sturdy, they are paper not that waxy laminated material. But they’re thick and the book is structured well.
Books are such an important part of children’s development and vocabulary. My son has learned a whole new vocabulary. This book has helped him put faces, pictures to his feelings. It has made those feelings real and seen.

Decent book with good techniques for kids
Format: Paperback
Cute book that my two and a half year old will reach for every now and then. She'll try mimicking what they're doing, like clenching her fists and blowing bubbles, while she reads it. However, she doesn't really use the techniques when she is mad and just telling her "we don't hit when we're mad" and "we don't hit our friends/mama/daddy/etc" has been more effective. But maybe when she's older this will help if she starts hitting again.
