The first cards, Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex, were revealed in the Pokémon Presents presentation on Pokémon Day 2025 with a standalone trailer. Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia also introduce Full Art (SR/Super Rare, equivalent to English's ultra rare) prints of Item cards, Pokémon Tool cards, and Stadium cards for the first time.
Each Japanese Mega Brave Booster Pack contains 5 random cards.
