Homeowners can conceal valuables from burglars by hollowing out a book and placing it on a bookshelf with other tomes. The secret book is easily found by the homeowner, but nearly impossible to find for the crook. In "The Matrix," Neo hides computer discs and cash inside a book, and who can forget the prison breakout in "Shawshank Redemption," accomplished using a rock hammer concealed in a Bible, the pages cut out starting at "Exodus."
Your Book of Secrets opens by entering a three-digit combination on the book's spine to release the secret key. Insert the key in the special slot and turn counterclockwise to engage the opening mechanism, then turn the gears counterclockwise to finally open the book. Did you forget the combination? Don't worry – you can open the Book of Secrets either by prying off the back panel or by playing safecracker, discovering the combination through touch.
