Optimal Routing Guide: Unlocking The Nutra's Potential

The Nutra is designed to be the versatile foundation of your tone. Its five distinct, independent voices work perfectly with the rest of your pedalboard. You select only one voice at a time, but its tone will interact harmoniously with other effects (like drives or boosts) placed before or after it.

Here are a few options for each voice and suggested placement in your signal chain:

Voice Setting Optimal Use Ideal Placement in Signal Chain
1. Clean Boost Pushing tube amps into natural overdrive and compression. First (Before any gain pedals) or Last (After all dirt pedals, for volume boost).
2. Treble Booster Classic vintage cut, tightening mid-gain tones, or adding sparkle to single coils. First (Before Overdrive/Fuzz).
3. Active EQ / Tone Sculptor Global tone shaping, cutting problematic room frequencies, or turning a dark amp into a bright one.

Early (Before gain). Or at the end before your Amp.
4. Classic Overdrive The core rhythm voice, dynamic gain, or adding girth to solos. Preferably before a boost pedal.
5. Tube-Amp Voicing Adding sag, compression, and tube warmth to solid-state, digital, or even low-wattage tube amps. Last (Right before the amp's input).
