It runs on a Raspberry Pi 3a+, Zero, Zero 2 and even a CM4 with the optional CM4 adapter, giving you access to thousands of retro games with Retropie. Pre-configured images are available to download so you can enjoy playing without the hassle of setting it up. Powered using one or two lithium batteries and re-charged via USB-C.

- Recommend Batteries (Battery is NOT included with this kit and must be purchased separately). You will also need to purchase separately the Battery Extension cables.
NOTES:
- Mame Gear requires a Raspberry Pi with a header. If you have a Pi with a pre-installed header, no soldering required. If not, you will be required to solder the header to the Pi.
- Although not required, adding the additional 2 front buttons will open up more games to play on the Zega Mame Gear. Some shell modification is required. You can also purchase a ready drilled shell from the Zega store.
- With the optional Zega Mame Gear expansion board, you can easily access the SD card and connect a USB device such as a Game Controller
- PCB color may vary. As of 2/7/24 the PCB is black.
- Raspberry Pi, shell, buttons, membranes, lens, battery not included.

Super cute and soft!

I really like this case. I was surprised by how soft it is! It arrived in perfect condition (just like the photos), no smell, keyboard worked. I followed the sellers instructions to charge before use. I gave it one less star because personally don’t care about the keyboard, it’s a little on the slower side when using the mousepad or typing. I didn’t have any issues with connecting. It was an easy setup. I’d suggest you spend the money for a laptop or a true keyboard if you need it. This is more for looks. If it wasn’t for the quality of the case, I’d probably return.

Good protection for my ipad

Flap to close is magnetic, so it stays closed. Has a spot for the open for the ipad. Keyboard is a handy feature to have, and love that it lights up.

Case quality is great, but keyboard is disappointing
Color: Mulberry
The quality of the case is really great. Plum color is beautiful. However, the keyboard is not the best quality. The keys are not sensitive enough and you can easily misspell words if you don’t click a key hard enough. The trackpad shortcuts are cool but inconvenient since you can turn off the shortcuts. You can turn off the trackpad but that just doesn’t work for me.

Economically priced ipad case

There's absolutely no way you could find a better ipad case with a wireless keyboard for this price. My daughter loves it. I was expecting it to feel a little cheap because of the price. I was wrong, this is a great find... thanks

Cute but beware of buttons with a mind of its own.

Super cute. Only has 3 keyboard multicolor options and one white light setting. Dimmable. But its functionality needs work. But the keys keep doing weird things like skipping lines, changing excel sheet formatting and just moving where I am typing on it own. Like it will be typing and then move to the beginning of the sentence and keep moving. The feel is super light and the quality of the case is great though. It’s easy to use and install to device with Bluetooth. Value is you get what you paid for. This keyboard is cute but not working quite well. I accidentally ordered a different model for a later iPad and had to return it, but based off of a leader model in comparison to this one, the keyboard just isn’t that great
