Der Hitzeschutz entsteht durch einen durchdachten, mehrlagigen Materialaufbau aus robustem Rauleder, isolierenden Schichten und einem weichen Innenvlies. An den Handflächen sorgt eine zusätzliche Kevlar®-Einlage für verstärkte Widerstandskraft – sie ermöglicht die Zertifizierung für kurzzeitigen Kontakt mit bis zu 250°C, ist aber nur ein Teil des gesamten Schutzsystems.
