While recording our Johnson’s Garden Time show recently, Jeremy and I were going over fungi controls. As usual, I got the segment started and pitched it to Jeremy. He mentioned that ferti-lome has a new fungicide, Fungicide 5. He told me that it’s a biological fungus control containing Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. It can be used on vegetables, fruit, nut, and ornamental trees, shrubs, flowering plants, houseplants and tropical plants. It’s made to control many diseases, such as anthracnose, leaf blights, black spot of roses, downy mildew, fruit rot, powdery mildew, scab and more. He went on to explain that the fungicide colonizes plant roots, putting it in a prime position to outcompete pathogens for growth on the plant. These beneficial bacteria fertilize the plant by providing nutrients that are in short supply and produce chemicals that induce plant growth. What an innovative way to control damaging fungi! May be used up until the day of harvest. Concentrated formula. 16 oz. bottle.

When should it be used? When fungi is present or as a preventative.
Where should it be used? For use on houseplants, tropical plants, vegetables, ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs, lawns, flowers, bedding plants, and potted ornamental plants.
What diseases are controlled? Controls label listed blights, molds, rots, spots and mildews.
How is it applied? Must be mixed with water and applied as a spray to fruit, flowers, and/or foliage, or as a drench to plant roots. Mix 1 teaspoon of per gallon of water. Repeat as needed to maintain disease control, typically every 7-10 days.
What is the active ingredient? Contains Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747.

Don’t buy
Size: 5 in
I bought one at a store for my Rottweiler puppy, about 2 months ago, I bought one from here n about 5 minutes she had chewed the end off, they did send me another, no charge, well I received the other bone yesterday, she chewed a big split in it. Won’t buy anymore, I’m out the money, which isn’t much. Made in China also, no more. Going back to Kong toys, they do last with aggressive chewers. Don’t know why but the one I bought at the store is holding up real good.

Eh...
Size: 5 in
I had high hopes for these cause we have other spot brand toys that have last a long time. Unfortunately these just don't hold up to the test! My dogs had them broken in about 5 - 10 mins. They did smell good tho and my dogs went crazy over them before I ever got them out of the bag. Lol.

Smells too strong
Size: 5 in
My dog hates the way this thing smells. She tries to play with it, but the scent is too strong for her nose. I know it's the scent because she usually sniffs it two or three times in between trying to grab it with her mouth. She treats it like an explosive in her mouth and quickly moves away after spitting it out. She used to have a bone that looked similar to this (same material) that was unscented and she gnawed the hell out of it. My sister's pitbull spent the night and chewed that toy into bits, leaving my Yorkie mourning the loss of her once treasured bone. Please make an UNSCENTED version of this toy!!!!

Worth the money for heavy chewers
Color: Brown-X
I finally found a dog chew that my puppy can't destroy in a half an hour or less. My puppy loves this, chews on it for hours and still holding up.

Holds up to a
Color: Brown-O
Bought this because of other positive reviews. It does hold up to an aggressive chewer but the pieces are sharp once it’s “broken in”. I bought the circular one as I figured that one would be less likely to break. It is still good after about 6 weeks.
