For the echo the "History" knob controls the delay time while the "Haunt" knob controls the feedback of the echo. The Reverb and Echo have a Ballast knob which controls the ducting of the effect and interacts with the before/after switch for each effect and the Fret switch is a low-pass filter for each effect.  There is a footswitch which can control additional oscillations of these effects.
