Attention! Here is a “vintage sound” machine! Best seller of the brand and already in MK.3 version, the JAM Pedals RetroVibe MK.3 is a Vibe type effect pedal that will delight fans of Hendrix and beautiful modulations. Externally it is a JAM Pedals, it has a hand painted finish. Each pedal will therefore be slightly different from one copy to another.The controls are simple and intuitive: a Deep setting for the depth of the effect, a Speed setting for the speed and 1 toggle switch which allows you to switch from Chorus mode to Vibrato mode. Also, there is a small internal trimmer to adjust the intensity of the effect.
Inside, we have a high quality PCB which only confirms the great care that our Greek friends take in the manufacture of these pretty colorful pedals: Photocells, NOS 2SC828 transistors, premium capas, internal 15VDC etc… what to deliver everything you would expect from a vintage Vibe. You can also use the dedicated input to connect an expression pedal which will allow you to adjust the speed of the effect.
Connected to a clear sound, we immediately note that the RetroVibe clearly has a sound signature of its own. Indeed, the natural compression that follows the curve of the effect and its “wacky” side cannot be found elsewhere! The effect is warm, organic, fairly low mids, with this typical analog side halfway between the "lush" of the chorus and this myriad of slight artefacts which gives it a little dirty side. This defines the intrinsic personality of the effect. By switching it to a light drive, we obtain the quintessence of the sounds of the genre. 60-70's here we come! Hendrix, Gilmour, we can play everything with the RetroVibe, all while having an authenticity that few Vibe(s) on the market have.
The Vibrato mode is also a model of its kind. The curve of the effect is soft and progressive with a slight detune which magnifies the effect.
Note, the pedal generates very little breath and goes well with a large number of power supplies.
What about this RetroVibe MK3 JAM? Clearly, she is part of the very limited selection of Vibes that are REALLY sounding at the time of this writing. Its unique character and the beauty of its modulation make it a must have, if only to own a Vibe with a unique timbre. We love.

Dog & I Disagree/ Aggressive Chewers Short-Term Toy

This is day two, and, My dog LOVED this toy! He loved the squeaking aspect, chewing the center squeaky area so he could squeak it himself (adorable!). He also loved playing fetch with it, but he loves fetch, but this was fun for him as it wasn't a ball. The chewing enjoyment is where it was at for him as he Loves to chew, and it was a nice weight that he could really carry around and have fun.
I did love this toy, as it was cute, and he was having such a great time with it! Until his teeth kept getting stuck in the rubber around the center squeaker area when getting it to squeak by himself. That was almost it, but he LOVES this toy, so I gave it another chance. Then, one of his teeth got stuck in the center and his teeth became hooked on the top of the outer round and he couldn't get it out of his mouth. That was the End.
Perhaps more size options, small, medium, and large, with safer spaces, at each size, between the squeaker area and the outer ring- so they can squeak it, yet avoid getting their teeth stuck and/or their mouths stuck open. I would say the durability is lacking, as, while similar, a Benebone it is not, though it gets sharp too-ouch! He had the outer rounds pretty tore up on the first day, and even more tore up today, so if you have a truly aggressive chewer, this is also a short term toy. This is a fun toy and many love it, though many more could love it with a few modifications.
As it is, I did not find it a value for my money, even with as much fun as he had; at this time, the safety aspect and the ease with which he chewed it requires I look somewhere else. I hope this helps.

Plastic cut my dog

If your pet chews a lot do not buy. My dog chewed the plastic and cut her nose when grabbing the toy because of how sharp it became.

Great for aggressive chewers

This toy held up well. My dog is a very aggressive chewer and will shred apart any toy she can. She was not able to tear up this one. I have not found many toys that she doesn't destroy

Best Balls Ever!!!

Finally a ball my power chewers cannot destroy

I have two dogs, an American Bully and an American Pit Bull Terrier, and both of them love to chew. Most balls last a very short time around here before they are shredded or missing big chunks. This one has actually held up. They chase it, tug on it and sit and chew on it, and it is still in one piece with no pieces breaking off.
One of my favorite things is being able to put food inside. I add some kibble or small snacks, and they will happily sit and work on it for a long time. It keeps them busy, gives them something safe to chew, and they get a little reward while they play. When they are done, I just rinse it out and it is ready to go again.
If you have strong jawed dogs that usually destroy toys, this ball is worth trying. Mine really enjoy it and I feel better knowing they finally have a ball that can keep up with them.
