Must have holy grail product
This is a must have, holy grail product. I am an avid skin care consumer and user and I'm always trying to find the next best thing. I have historically had oily skin with really stubborn cystic acne. The acne has calmed down over the years but it's still an issue along with clogged pores, enlarged pores, rough and patchy skin, blackheads, hyperpigmentation and milia. I've always used products with various acids to help with cell turnover along with physical exfoliants to remove dead skin but you have to be careful with these kinds of products because overuse can cause irritation and dry skin and exacerbate existing problems. Prequel is the perfect balance of very gentle but also very effective exfoliation. It leaves my skin softer and brighter and somehow also adds a ton of hydration. Since my skin is used to acids, I'm able to use Prequel every day. I apply it to a round, flat cotton pad and rub it all over my face and neck. I go over certain problem areas and second time. I let it dry and then apply any additional serums and treatments. I was able to notice a difference after the first use. My pores were smaller and my skin just looked brighter. With consistent use, it's gently brought comedones and clogged pores to the surface and lightened dark spots. It also worked wonders for my lips. I've had chronically dry, cracked, painful, peeling lips for years. I have tried every balm, mask, oil, serum, and gel imaginable to try to treat them. Nothing has ever worked until I accidentally applies a light layer of Prequel on my lips. It exfoliates my lips which removes all the dead skin and then hydrates the new layer. I'm finally able to just wear some regular Chapstick and my lips are soft and supple. Prequel has also lightened my lips, which was an issue I didn't even realize I had until I saw what a difference Prequel made. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs gentle and hydrating exfoliation. You can build up your tolerance with regular use. You will quickly notice your skin looking brighter, smoother, softer and more supple. It does an amazing job with keeping acne at bay and lightening hyperpigmentation. It layers very nicely without pilling and feels so hydrating. I will never be without the product for as long as they continue to make it.

This peel works amazingly for me.
I wish I could buy a million bottles if this thing has an indefinite shelf life. It feels like the 20% glycolic acid peels I used to have once a week and gives me the same amazing results minus the skin peeling. It does tingle my skin but the sensation doesn’t last more than 10 minutes on me, definitely tolerable and I don’t get any lasting damage from it, my face doesn’t even turn red for more than 5 seconds. It’s just like putting a serum on my face with this product versus prepping my skin and putting on acids, set up a timer and wash it off. So much more convenient and so much more pleasant texture. Forget about the hydrating part, this thing is effectively a chemical peel so know your skin and patch test on your chin to see if you can tolerate it. If you can’t but really want to use it I guess you can always put it on and wash it off after a few minutes to see if you can eventually build up tolerance. This is an amazing product just have your expectations straight and know it’s strong and might not be for you, but if it is for you then I’m 99% sure you’ll love it like I do! Edit: 4th time using it and my skin already not tingling nearly as much, almost none exist tonight. I’m so excited! I’m on 0.05% tretinoin every night and 15% azelaic acid morning and night. I skip tret on milk peel night but keep the azelaic acid. Pore size already improved.

Impressive results!
Impressive results! The Prequel Multi-Acid Milk Peel has visibly softened my acne scars and evened out my skin tone within just a few weeks. As someone with mature combination skin, I appreciate that the milky formula keeps me hydrated while the 15% acids do the heavy lifting. No irritation at all—just smooth, glowing skin.

GET THIS
THIS IS IT. This needs to be a permanent beauty staple item in your toolkit! I use Dennis Gross acid wipes for my face, it has erased my melasma with maintenance of course but this stuff is THE item for your body and crepey skin. Dennis Gross wipes are too expensive and small to use over your whole body. Amlactin is amazing but it does have that signature lactic acid smell and sometimes I don’t want lotion on me. I had never heard of Prequel before this. It was cheap enough and had all the acids I was looking for. I’ve only been using it for one week and it definitely has all the lactic acid magic in it! The wrinkle bend creases on my wrists are gone. My sun damage freckles and spots are fading. It’s so fast and easy to use. It dries fast. I put it on my arms and legs every single night while watching my bedtime TV routine. I’m here to buy a second bottle. I’m not a bot! Ladies we need this. I’ll update some photos later on. I’m sad I didn’t take a before photo. Also, remember any lactic acid products you MUST wear sunscreen after/during treatment. It makes you more prone to burn. I haven’t used this on my chest area sun damage but I have used PTR acid products there and it works phenomenally. Sometimes it pills so I may switch to this for my chest.

Great results when used carefully
This is a strong exfoliating peel, and it definitely works. The milk texture spreads easily and feels controlled, but you can tell right away that this is not a beginner exfoliant. At 15% glycolic acid, it delivers noticeable smoothing and brightness when used carefully. I started slowly and kept my routine very simple afterward, focusing on hydration and barrier support. Used this way, it helped refine texture and made my skin look clearer and more even. When I increased usage too quickly, I noticed dryness, which was a good reminder that this peel needs to be respected. I would recommend this to experienced skincare users who are comfortable with chemical exfoliation and understand the importance of spacing treatments and supporting the skin barrier. It’s effective, but not something to rush or overuse. I used less than the recommended amount and it was still a little spicy for me.
