IMPORTANT: For bare steel barbells, we take extra precautions to reduce any oxidation/rusting while in storage and transit by coating the barbell in oil but small rust spots may be visible when you receive it. Clean it with some simple green cleaner and a BBQ brush, then wipe dry with a microfiber cloth.

For cerakote-coated barbells, use Nylon brushes or microfiber towels only! Avoid abrasive metal-to-metal contact from tight-fitting collars, weight plates, un-lined landmine attachments, and j-cups, to preserve that beautiful rust-resistant finish for years to come!

Barbell is built to IPF specs, but is not IPF certified. In other words, you can use it for competition training and get the real feel, but not on the platform.
