Featuring the largest tuning display Peterson Tuners has ever incorporated into one of their pedal tuners, the StroboStomp HD boasts a high-definition, LCD screen that incorporates a variable color LED backlight. The user-selectable colors can be used to personalize the tuner or to increase display viewing quality in different levels of ambient lighting depending on the usage environment. The vibrant screen colors can also be assigned to stock or user presets to significantly reduce menu navigation time and increase on-stage tuning confidence at the gig.

For tone purists, the StroboStomp HD provides a 100% silent, true-bypass operation mode to keep precious tone safe, as well as eliminate the often annoying “pop” experienced when engaging such a feature in other products. It uses a unique series of timed relays incorporated within its circuitry to shunt the signal, draining the cause of the popping sound prior to breaking the connection, and effectively shutting the tuner down for direct play through without affecting tone quality.

The StroboStomp HD also includes a long-time, user-requested buffered output operation mode that can be user engaged. The buffered mode can be used in or out of monitor mode. It is designed to boost instrument drive to overcome potential tone loss in signal chains that incorporate multiple low-impedance guitar pedals or those that utilize long cable runs. The buffered output modes preserve sonic quality all through the instrument range and keep prized core tone intact.

The StroboStomp HD features over 100 exclusive Sweetened Tunings™ as well as numbered guided tuning presets for a large variety of instruments and playing styles. Sweetened Tunings are exclusive to Peterson tuning products and are designed to help correct inherent tuning issues exhibited by many instruments. The new "Guided Tunings" mode allows the StroboStomp HD to display numeric string values instead of traditional note names making for sure-fire intuitive and rapid re-tuning to any number of open and alternative tunings. The Guided Tuning mode was instituted for beginners who want to experiment with popular alternate tunings in addition to experienced players who employ multiple tunings in rapid succession. Numerically expressed scales are also included.

Dogs who chew will love this!
I have a puggle who chews all of the time, and she has been through a variety of Nylabone products, all of which she absolutely loved. I am a huge fan of anything Nylabone, and when I saw this one, I immediately had to get it for her because not only did it look like something she would love, but the design promotes good dental health. She has had it for a month now, and she is constantly chewing on it. Not only has it helped to keep her teeth clean, but it is much more durable than other Nylabone toys. She chews it every day, carries it around and drops it all over the place, and it has barely worn at all. I highly recommend this toy for dogs who love to chew! I do have to share one negative to this toy though.... if your dog likes you to "tug" with them for their toys, this one isn't for you. It hurts to grab and pull on it. Not much of a negative, but I want to give a fair review, so if you are looking for a strong tug toy, go with a smooth surfaced large Nylabone and save your hands some pain :)

Can't choose the dino... sad!
I have a beagle/jack russel mix. Needless to say, he is very high-energy and does best when given a job to do that involves chewing. He LOVES his Novabone and Nylabone- but tears thru the larger sizes in a single afternoon- so when I saw this I was very happy, because it is an unusual shape and durable! Amazon's iphone app let you scan in an item and find it cheaper on Amazon- so instead of the higher pet shop price, I scored a savings deal on Amazon! Nice! My big, fat, sad complaint is that you cannot CHOOSE the dinosaur! I knew this when ordering and the stegosaurus arrived- honestly I was hoping for the T-Rex or the Brontosaurus but I guess you get what you get. Still, a beagle gnawing on a T-Rex would be pretty funny...

Great Toy for Teething and Strong Chewer
Eli is now 10 months old, a labrador retriever that proves time and time again he needs toys that he can chew, but won't fall apart. He cannot have the stuffed animal toys (no, those he'll tear apart in SECONDS, never mind minutes). Aside from the Kong and the antler, this is the only toy he can chew on that won't fall apart. Even animal bones will split in minutes. Since he was a couple of months old, he has loved this Dinosaur Chew Toy. When he was teething, I'd put it in the freezer (sometimes put peanut butter on it to keep his interest). It was not only great for teething, but also massaged his gums. Now that he's out of teething phase, he still loves to chew on it. For the money, this is worth it. It's saved the furniture and the house from being chewed on, as he focused on this toy instead. Highly recommend, especially for the price. For any strong-chewing pup or dog in particular, this toy won't shatter, split or break apart.

Cracked Tooth
Update: While I originally loved this product and so did my dogs, I feel the need to update this review. The Dura Chew Nylabones are incredibly hard, which is what makes them last so long. However, one of our dogs did crack a tooth recently from chewing on a Dura Chew. Since then, we have been very hesitant to allow any of our dogs to chew on these as other reviews also state that dogs have cracked teeth. We have since thrown out all of the Dura Chews that we had. We are still using the regular Nylabone products (when they aren't made in China), but once those are gone we will not buy any additional products from Nylabone. We have been buying Whimzees for our dogs for the last two years or so and they are a healthy edible alternative. They do not last as long because they are edible, but I have the peace of mind in knowing that my dogs are safe with them. Another healthy alternative would be antlers, which we also give to our dogs and they usually last a long time. Original review: Another great Nylabone product. I love that dogs can chew on Nylabone products and they can't pull off pieces like products from other brands (Hartz for example). The Dura Chews are especially great for our hard chewers and they last forever! I love all of the dimples on their chews too, they're great for keeping our dogs' teeth clean. The vet is always impressed when they check their teeth.
