wilier fitnessbike Wilier Filante SL Force AXS BikeThe Wilier Filante SL Force AXS Bike occupies the center of the Filante SL lineup same WorldTour derived aero frame as every build in the family, equipped with SRAM Force AXS E1, the groupset where SRAM's wireless platform starts to feel like a serious performance tool rather than an accessible entry point. The Wilier Filante SL Force AXS Bike occupies the center of the Filante SL lineup — same WorldTour-derived aero frame as every build in the family, equipped with SRAM Force AXS E1, the groupset where SRAM's wireless platform starts to feel like a serious performance tool rather than an accessible entry point. At $7,950, it sits between Rival and Ultegra Di2 on the price ladder and earns that position with a groupset that serious road riders won't find themselves wanting to upgrade.

The frame is the Filante SL's Carbon Monocoque NHU MOD+ — Wilier's accessible interpretation of the Filante SLR, the aero race bike used by professionals in WorldTour competition. The different carbon lamination compared to the SLR adds just under 150 grams to a painted size M frame (1,010g) while producing noticeably better compliance on rough roads and long days in the saddle. Every metal part — seatpost, spacers, top cover, dropout — is shared with the SLR. The geometry is identical across builds, and the Wilier Z-Bar Integrated Carbon cockpit with fully internal cable routing through Wilier's proprietary superthin headset bearing is standard equipment regardless of which groupset you choose. You're getting the same front-end integration and aerodynamic profile on this bike as on the $8,600 Ultegra Di2 version.

SRAM Force AXS E1 is where this build earns its price. Force sits above Rival in SRAM's hierarchy with a stiffer, lighter crankset and the SRAM Force XG-1270 cassette — a notably better component than the Miche cassette on the Rival build. The 12-speed wireless shifting experience is crisp and responsive, running the same AXS platform and app as Red. The 48/35 chainring setup is a versatile semi-compact — enough top-end speed for sprint finishes, enough range for sustained climbing — paired with a 10-33 cassette that keeps the gear steps tighter and faster than the Rival's wider range. SRAM Force AXS E1 hydraulic disc brakes with SRAM Paceline 160mm rotors handle the stopping. The Miche SWR EVO 50 carbon wheels — the same 50mm deep-section wheelset found across all Filante SL builds — roll underneath.

Design Benefits

  1. SRAM Force AXS — the sweet spot of the wireless lineup. Force sits above Rival with a stiffer crankset, the SRAM Force XG-1270 cassette, and shifting action that holds up under hard efforts. It's the tier where riders who race or train seriously end up and stay, rather than the entry point they graduate from.
  2. 48/35 semi-compact gearing with a tight 10-33 cassette. The chainring and cassette pairing on this build targets fast group rides and racing — enough top-end speed to sprint, enough range to climb, with tighter gear steps than the Rival build's wider spread. The 10-tooth small cog adds useful top-end on flat roads.
  3. Same frame and cockpit as the $8,600 Ultegra Di2 build. The NHU MOD+ carbon frame, 1,010g for a painted size M, and Wilier's proprietary superthin bearing cockpit integration are identical across all Filante SL variants. The $650 you save over the Ultegra build stays in your pocket without a single frame or cockpit compromise.
  4. Miche SWR EVO 50 carbon wheels. The 50mm deep-section carbon wheelset is the same spec found on every Filante SL build — aerodynamically effective on flat and rolling terrain, stable enough in crosswinds for everyday use.
  5. Full AXS ecosystem compatibility. Force AXS E1 is fully integrated into SRAM's AXS wireless platform. Power meter cranks, dropper posts, and other AXS components can be added and controlled through the same app. If you ever want to add a power meter or upgrade to Red components selectively, the infrastructure is already there.

Final Take

The Wilier Filante SL Force AXS makes the strongest case of the three Filante SL builds for a committed road rider who's decided on SRAM. The frame and cockpit are identical to the more expensive Ultegra Di2 version, the Force groupset is genuinely capable at the race level, and the gearing is tuned for speed. If you're building a fast race bike and want wireless shifting without paying Red prices, this is where that search ends.

Apple Pencil (USB-C): Device Compatibility Check Required
I’m extremely happy with this Apple Pencil! It connected to my iPad quickly and works flawlessly. The writing and drawing experience feels smooth and natural, almost like writing on paper. It’s very responsive with no lag, and the battery life is excellent. Perfect for note-taking, sketching, editing, and everyday productivity. The quality definitely matches the price, and it has made using my iPad so much more convenient. Highly recommend for students, creatives, or anyone wanting to get more out of their iPad.

Perfect if you want to use Procreate
I wasn’t sure if this would work as well as the regular iPencil, because I had read this one doesn’t have features the more expensive one has. And I have to say, whatever those extra features are I’m not missing them! This works great, it’s very accurate, amazing quality. Considering how much I’m using it in Procreate, I would say it’s more than paid for itself! As expensive as it seems, it’s been a great value for the money. It’s easy to use and the design is simple. You just have to remember to occasionally plug it in to charge it- the end slides open, revealing a type-C charger port. But the battery life on it lasts a long time. I’ve used it all day before without it dying on me! That reminds me, I should probably go plug it in now…

Great Apple Pencil, easy set up via Bluetooth, and charges extremely fast.
Great value for the money, very easy to use and compatible with most iPads. It charges extremely fast, if you charge it for 10 minutes it’s at 100% even if it was at 10% when you charged it. Very easy to connect to your iPad via Bluetooth, feels good in your hand, and looks like it cost a lot more money than it did.

Works good
Works great, was easy to connect and it’s easy to use. It’s durable. Most of the time I’m using it instead of my fingers. Pairs well with my iPad A16. It’s not heavy, nor is it too light. Sometimes it’s annoying when I’m trying to use the keyboard on my iPad but it doesn’t pull it up since it’s connected to the pencil, but it’s not too big of a deal. I love the appearance, I’ve always been obsessed with this type of stylus, I found it more practical and easier to use than a traditional stylus. (Plus it makes it so much easier to exit out of ads) I won’t comment on the price since I’m sure it’s worth the money, but I’ll let others be the judge of that. For art purposes, I’m not an artist yet, but I’m practicing, and it works for me, I just can’t comment on how it’ll be for an actual artist though, so please do your research on which will be best for you!

Not perfect but a good pencil for a good price.
Not as user friendly as the original pencil and battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long. After about 4 hours of being charged it was down to 46%. That was intermittent use and non use, with about 3 hours actual use. To charge the original pencil I pulled off the end exposing the lightening connector and plugged it into the receptacle on my iPad. This requires a USB-C cable connection from either the charger or the iPad. Admittedly, it’s not that big a deal, but it feels like a step backwards from the original. The battery longevity is a little more irksome. The pencil is very easy to use, and I’m actually amazed at how the iPad is able to generate text when I write with it, even with my sometimes barely legible script. Much improved over the original. I can live with the minor irritations because it’s a good value for the price.
