What Makes Tergrid Special

Tergrid's Lantern is a mana outlet that can.... just kidding. I'm not sure anyone has actually played the backside. The menacing God side is far, far more than enough. Tergrid is one of the most feared commanders of all time, for good reason. Tergrid takes control whenever your opponents lose whenever they are forced to get rid of their resources. Everything they own will be ours.

Gameplan

Tergrid is all about resource denial. Whether it is edicts or hand hate, we want our opponents to play with as limited resources as possible. This is going to be our plan throughout the game, with or without Tergrid out. Discard and sac to make sure that none of our opponents are moving too quickly.

Tergrid is a removal magnet. Everyone hates her, for good reason. A turn with her out can easily give you all permanents. We want to save Tergrid for when we can pair it with something else. A mass discard spell or large edict is ideal, overwhelming our opponents with too many necessary targets to remove.

Make sure to try and close the game quickly once you start evicerating our opponents hands and boards, as if they can't remove Tergrid they are defenseless and you must press on the attack.
