Why Buy the Side Car?
With the Side Car Controller you get 3 dedicated footswitches which control “Stack”, “Erase” and “Play Stop All”. You also get 4 additional bonus features for a total of 8 between the 2 pedals. With these additional Bonus options, you can unlock the true potential of the Rang III including the easy use of “Loop 4” without needing to give up any bonus features.
Connecting to the Rang III
The Side Car Controller connects to the Boomerang III using a standard 5-pin MIDI cable (included with purchase). One end of the MIDI cable connects to the “Pedal Link Out” port on the Side Car and the other end connects to the “Pedal Link IN” port on your Rang III. No additional setup is needed. You can also daisy chain the Side Car to the RangIII’s power supply with the DC power Y splitter included with your purchase.
Momentary Stack Mode
Momentary Stack Mode is a feature that was included on the original Boomerang and Boomerang Plus models. This feature has been reintroduced on the Side Car Controller. In this mode, stacking (also known as overdubbing) is only active when the “Stack” foot switch is being pressed instead of it being continuous while the “Stack” light is flashing. Sometimes this a better option for overdubbing depending on the musical part being added.
MIDI Clock with the Side Car Controller
If you want to use the Side Car with your Rang III but you already use the Rang III's “Pedal Link In” port for syncing with MIDI clock the Side Car will retransmit the MIDI clock messages to the Rang III. Simply connect the MIDI cable from the MIDI clock device to the “Pedal Link IN” port on the Side Car which puts the Side Car between the MIDI clock device and the Rang III in the signal chain. The Side Car MIDI commands and MIDi tempo will both transmit through the Side Car’s “Pedal Link Out” port.
The Panic Button
This feature is assignable to either the Green or Yellow bonus buttons on the Side Car and offers a quick cutoff to all loops and overdubs. With lots of overdubbing sometimes volumes can become overwhelming especially when using lots of effects like delay. The Panic button allows you to cut-off ALL audio quickly.
Compatibility With Older Rang III Models.
The included Y power cable splitter for daisy chaining the Side Car to the Rang III’s power supply is only compatible with Rang III models that have a serial number beginning with “91”. If you own a Rang III with a serial number beginning with either "L3" or "56" the Y splitter will not fit on those pedals. Please check your serial number before purchasing this product. Please contact Boomerang Customer Support for any questions you might have regarding this.

Never Pay Again. Easy and affordable for your health and the vehicle.
Size: For Sonata Gas 2015-2019
Way easier to replace than I thought. I’ve done a cabin filter before, but never the engine air filter. After this, I’ll never pay someone to do it again.
I actually went into a store first, and the cabin filter alone was the same price as this set that includes both the cabin and engine filters. Since I needed both, this was a no-brainer.
Install was quick and straightforward, even for someone who’s not a "car guy".
I can’t speak scientifically on how well they filter, but they’re definitely better than the mouse-destroyed ones that were in this car before. Huge improvement.
Highly recommend if you’re looking to save money and do it yourself. They fit well and seemed to be exactly what was needed and expected.

2025 cx-50 : Cabin filter fit perfect. Engine filter was not as precise , it was a perfect edged rectangle whilst the new filter had round edges, it did fit after all. Way better than paying 100$+ at the dealer. I will come back once I notice any airflow changes & or smells .

Good Product, But Doesn't Fit All RAV4 Models

Both filters seemed to be of high quality, but the engine air filter did not fit in my 2019 RAV4 XSE Hybrid. Please note that ordering this was my mistake -- I didn't realize that the hybrid and gas-only filters were different sizes -- and that StaunchAuto also offers a hybrid version of the kit, which I have just ordered.
