The S-Works Turbo Levo R represents a shift in how Specialized approaches electric mountain bikes, blending raw power with a chassis that remains remarkably nimble on technical terrain. Built on a FACT 11m Carbon frame with adjustable geometry, this rig is designed to feel like a natural extension of the rider rather than a heavy machine. Specialized equipped this model with their 3.1 S-Works motor, delivering a massive 111Nm of torque and 850W of peak power to ensure no climb is out of reach. An 840Wh battery provides the endurance for long days in the backcountry, while the MasterMind TCU offers a fully customizable interface to manage that output on the fly.

To handle the significant speed this bike generates, Specialized opted for a suspension package featuring a FOX 36 SL Factory fork and the innovative FOX FLOAT Factory GENIE rear shock. This setup provides 140mm of front travel and 130mm in the rear, offering a refined platform that tracks confidently through rough sections without losing its playful character. The build is rounded out with top-tier components, including a SRAM XX Eagle AXS wireless drivetrain, SRAM Motive Ultimate 4-piston brakes, and Roval Traverse SL II carbon wheels spinning on Industry 9 Hydra 2 hubs. Every detail, from the titanium hardware to the S-Works Power Mirror saddle, is chosen to minimize weight and maximize the connection to the trail.

Super informative and easy to read!
Format: Kindle
Fantastic! I didn't expect a book about taxes and financial planning to be a page turner, but it certainly was. I almost dreaded starting it because this topic is such a headache, but I started and then devoured it in a single day. What I really appreciate is that it went into detail where most books about author business just give mealy mouthed generalizations, not specific to any particular country, and then warn you that their non-advice "does not constitute legal advice." Write It Off actually goes into meaningful detail about the different types of business structures in the U.S. and how to decide which is best for you. The section on deductible expenses made me realize that I've been missing an opportunity to write off a significant expense that I hadn't even considered. The section at the end with a list of helpful expense -tracking and budgeting tools was super helpful too. I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily, but I would definitely recommend this to any creative with a small business. It's not just for authors!

An Essential (Unique) Resource
I have been in finance for nearly thirty years, but accounting for my hobby writing practice is still a mess. Lots of laws, and rules, and detail. Yuck – who has time? Christy’s book simplifies many of these issues, distilling them down to the essentials, and empowering writers to do much of their own financial work. It may not eliminate the need for an accounting professional, but enables and may reduce those costs (not to mention – your accountant will appreciate you being more organized). This included everything from legal structure, to accounting and taxes. The exercises are relevant and not overwhelming. Great resource for anyone with a writing practice, whether it be international bestseller or those of us building on our hobby.

Great resource for authors
Format: Kindle
The book offers a variety of helpful tips from running your own business, filing types, inventory, taxes, and more. I will be referencing it again as it has so much information that I need to look back on. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Two issues with the book: 1) Parts of the book sounded like AI. Words like crucial, labyrinth, and the extensive use of bullets left me somewhat suspicious. It’s not a huge deal as it was heavily edited but was noticeable. 2) Formatting of some parts were in all bold which was hard to read. Entire bulleted sections were all bolder instead of just the first sentence. It needed to be updated and I think this was missed. The book is helpful and a good resource despite these two issues. I appreciated the vast amount of information provided which will be beneficial in the future.
