Simple, yet functional design deploys in seconds, while also providing ample room for your sleeping bags and assorted camping gear.

We've planned for these to be totally customized by you, in hopes these will all become unique scale creations!
So when you purchase the physical product, it will include the tent sheets pre-cut from styrene sheet,
with the intention of you adding your favorite fabric material to complete the foldable tent.
Perfect place to use that favorite old club t-shirt!
Think origami meets tiny trucks!
You could even get away with using tape! (Camo duct tape?)

If you choose to purchase the downloadable "3d printable" file set, it will include both upper and lower roof top tent halves,
plus the STL''s for the tent panels to be printed.
As well as the PDF template file if you choose to use a plastic folder, thin cardboard, or whatever 1mm thick or less material.
File set also includes bonus mounting bosses to enable mounting to 1/8" rod, if you choose to use them.

When it comes to mounting your new roof top tent, we've added three widths of indention marks on the inside of both the top and bottom,
in order to help keep things lined up when installing onto your roof rack, or adding a rail system to the top!

Two elastic bands keeps things secure, and easy to access or close, for when you arrive or depart your campsite.
Pilot holes also surround the perimeter of the RTT, setup to accept 2/56" sized hardware,
to allow you to mount your scale accessories on 3 sides of the unit.

Required to complete:

-Thin material for covering tent sheets
-1/16" steel rod for the full length hinge
- hardware to mount to your scale vehicle
- thin elastic hair-ties for the "latch"


Tips and tricks:

- use spray adhesive to adhere fabric to tent sheets, hosiery makes for realistic window screens
- make sure to leave space between sheets while covering with material, to allow the tent portion to fold up cleanly
- grind 1/16" rod to chisel point, to clearance for insertion of hinge rod, using your drill
- adhere a strong magnet onto the interior floor, in order to secure small tools, 4-way wrench, or Allen keys for emergency trailside repairs
-Designed to not need supports on most 3d printers using most commonly used materials
-If printing included PDF file, make sure you're printing at 100% image size, and duplicate both side pieces to make two of each
