Maybe you don’t remember this foot switch, or maybe you’ve noticed it at the base of iconic pieces like the "Ettore" by E. Gismondi for Artemide, Stylos and Aoy by Castiglioni for Flos, or Brumbury by Luigi Massoni for Guzzini.

Few, even among industry professionals, know this: this double-switch switch was also designed by Achille Castiglioni, winner of nine Compasso d'Oro awards. Castiglioni had a passion for the switches he designed: they were his way of entering the homes of many people, a true example of industrial design, where beauty and function are combined with a large number of products made at an affordable cost.

WARNING: the single-pole switch with double foot-operated control must be used exclusively as a replacement for the same model previously installed on your lamp or designer floor lamp and is compatible with the round and braided textile cords from the Creative-Cables range.

A Must Have For The Beginner
Format: Kindle
So I've had an the opportunity to spend time with this book and I have to say that I'm very satisfied. Normally when you're reading tech books that claim to be for beginners they assume that you know things and skips steps, but this book doesn't do that. I went from being super intimidated about programming and back end development, but this book eases your mind and makes you feel like you can do anything. And after reading it you start looking at programming in a completely different way. Pros: * Easy to comprehend * Well laid out * The tone of the author is very pleasant and not boring at all * Encourages you to experiment with what you've learned and encourages you to go out explore even further * He makes you feel smart * He makes you feel like you actually have a shot at being a paid developer Cons: * There were a few typos and some missing syntax in a few of the coding examples, but even with that being the case this book is still awesome Once I land a gig here in the next three months it'll be thanks to this book and this amazing author. Thanks =)

A good book for beginners
Format: Paperback
Well I spent about 3 hours reviewing this book last night and I actually think I understood most of it. I still have a long way to go. And I’m not ready to call myself a software engineer any time soon. I think I would need to take about 3 college courses in software engineering and this book would be the first textbook. I would recommend that the index be expanded. I would recommend a book on Python to go with this book.

Must have prior knowlege
Format: Paperback
After reading the reviews, it seemed like this was the perfect book to start learning about software engineering. Unfortunately, it is not. it assumes some program knowledge. I downloaded and installed Visual Studio Code, Ubuntu, and Docker Desktop. On page 22, it says to use the docker build command. I did, and I got a file or folder not found error. I've spent 4 hours searching the internet for an answer to this. I cant find it. This book is supposed to be written for absolute beginners. Apparently, it is not, as I, a beginner, am stuck 22 pages into it...
