From MXR:Billie Joe Armstrong's guitar tone on Green Day's groundbreaking album Dookie sounded dirty and punchy with the perfect amount of articulation to express the musicality of his fast, melodic riffs. He got that sound by running his signal through two heavily modified amplifiers-one scooped with a ton of gain and the other with a well defined midrange. When it came time to mix the record, the band blended the two signals together in different ratios to match the vibe of each track.
The MXR Dookie Drive Pedal captures the sound of both the amps used on that record in a single pedal so that you can dial in your own variations of the famous Dookie sound. MXR borrowed the amps themselves so that the MXR team could carefully analyze all the sonic qualities that make them sound so darn good. After much analysis and A/B testing, MXR engineers rebuilt the amps from scratch in pedal circuit form and fit them into a single housing. The High Gain and Crunch Gain sections each have their own controls, while the Blend control allows you to mix them together just like Green Day did in the studio. If you want some extra scoop in the midrange of the overall output signal, just hit the Scoop switch.
The Dookie Drive isn't just for Green Day fans-this totally unique pedal provides a full harmonic range of overdriven tones for a playing experience that is full of depth and dimension. These things a freaking AWESOME!
If you're doing a big sound deadner job, you need thees! The 3 different sizes are perfect for the different shapes in the floor pans. Well built, good quality and they have a nice weight to them. Just buy them and thank me later. For $15.00 you can't go wrong.

Great sound mat for the price!

This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.

Excellent sound deadening mats

Purchased these for a 2020 Lexus RX350 due to the hollow sound of the car doors when shutting. They sounded cheap. The mats are super sticky and I applied them when the doors were hot from sitting in the sun. They alubutyl sticks like crazy and the end result was perfect. Now I have solid sounding doors. Good quality product.
