A different texture than most fuzz, it is clear that from his early youth Kurt had an affinity for squared, filthy, asymmetrical fuzz tones just as much as his later DS and then SANS tones.  

All of Kurt's fuzz tones at YOUR disposal. 

BALANCE is a volume. You'll keep this at maximum for everything to maintain unity gain levels. Vintage fuzz have less than ideal output.

the WAVE icon doesn't only function like a typical gain control, it cuts bass as well. This control was left in "reverse" for vintage schematic accuracy as the original was side mounted. 

It's pretty set and forget with the balance at max and wave/bass cut to taste.
